Minneapolis, January 23, 2014 – Honolulu Hills Park, in Taft, Calif., saw 29 Side-by-Sides, 22 of them RZRs, line up for the first WORCS race of the season.
New Polaris Factory Racer Mitch Guthrie Jr., who moved from the Production 1000 class to the Pro Class for 2014, would grab the hole shot in his Guthrie Racing RZR XP 1000 and take an impressive second place.
Polaris Racer RJ Anderson in his new Holz/Walker Evans/Polaris RZR XP 1000 would start in the second row and ultimately take the Pro SxS Class. Anderson would pass several racers and battle with Holz/Maxxis/Polaris Racer Beau Baron who finished thirteenth due to a mechanical issue. Cognito/Polaris Racer, Ryan Piplic in his new RZR XP 1000 would round out the Podium in third.
The next WORCS race is Buffalo Bills, in Primm, Nevada, February 7-9.
