Using the Trailhawk 4×4 package as a platform, the Trail Carver is powered by the company 3.2-liter V-6 engine that Mopar fitted with a cold-air intake and cat-back exhaust to increase performance. The exterior is painted in a unique color called Auburn Pearl, with low-gloss black and Granite Crystal accenting the rig. The hood and roof feature topographical graphics to highlight the Trail Carver’s adventurous spirit, which the team then bordered in a Crush Orange paint that’s matched with orange tow hooks.
Aggressive Firestone Destination tires are fitted on the Trail Carver to tackle tough terrain. For added storage, Mopar fit a concept roof basket design that features orange accent side panels wrapped in woven metallic fabric. The interior features Katzkin Amaretto leather seats, along with colored leather wrapping on the center console, storage door and armrest, and matching color stitching on the seats.
Mopar also outfitted the Trail Carver with a number of unique parts including a wireless smartphone charger and WiFi, Jeep Cargo Management Receiver System (JCMRS), which features a running bar along the left interior to which Mopar items may be mounted, such as a Mopar roadside emergency kit, Trailhawk bag and first-aid kit.
