When camping and off-roading, it’s always important to be prepared for any emergencies that might arise. Oftentimes your campsite will be away from town and immediate help, so being able to assess and aid a situation while in the wild is crucial. A basic first aid kit is a must on every trip, and it should include bandages, gauze, disinfectant, first aid tape and more. A lighter is very important to have on hand, as matches can get wet and having quick fire can be important. A flashlight or headlamp is also important for the trip but especially in first aid situations when it’s dark (these are also important to have in the event you get separated from the group or lost). A roll of duct tape and rope can help in a number of situations, and a Swiss army knife or multi-purpose tool can really come in handy.
