Kendall Norman was a man on a mission at round 9 of the AMA National Hare and Hound series. He launched his Honda CRF450X out to an impressive holeshot and never looked back.
Taking the win Kendall had this to say, “Going into the So-Cal MC National Hare and Hound, I didn’t question my equipment, fitness or talent, instead just hoped for the perfect day. My Honda ran flawless, the pit crew was on point and I had that perfect day leading wire to wire. Thank you to all who believe in me and support the cause.” — Kendall Norman
The course consisted of 3 separate loops. Loop 1 was a 38 mile challenging high speed loop. Loop 2 was a 49 mile section that spread the field out and took the leaders nearly 1 1/2 hours to complete. Loop 3 was a 14 mile technical, demanding, rocky, high steaks sprint to the finish. All totaling up to a 100 mile race for the record books. Congratulations Kendall on a spectacular win!
“JCR/Honda had an AMAZING weekend and it showed the depth of talent and quality of equipment we race with. It also showed how incredible the support crews are. We made a plan to divide and conquer this weekend and that’s exactly what we did. Congratulations to Kendall Norman, what an amazing ride!” — Johnny Campbell
Quinn Cody and David Kamo also put in great performances. Quinn Cody moved thru the pack and finished 6th and David Kamo came out strong before a radiator puncture took him out of the race, but with the quick hands of the support crews he was able to battle back to 8th.
