2000 KAWASAKI MULE 520 UTILITY
VEHICLE The MULE 520 is a multifaceted utility vehicle that is
larger than a full-sized ATV, but smaller than a compact pickup
truck. Designed to drive like a car, it has a truck-like bench seat
for two and a tilting rear cargo bed. The Mule 520 is powered by an
air-cooled 286cc OHV four-stroke single-cylinder engine and
features a dual-mode differential. Transmitting power to the rear
wheels is Kawasaki's continuously variable belt-drive automatic
transmission which eases driver operation and increases both engine
and powertrain life. With a cargo capacity of 350 pounds and a
towing capacity of 900 pounds, the Mule 520 rides on broad,
smooth-tread tires that minimize damage to delicate surfaces and
lightweight insulation surrounds the engine for extra-quiet
operation. The Mule 520 is assembled in Lincoln, Nebraska and has a
suggested retail price of $5,399.
