CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Katech Performance has introduced an oil cooler adapter (KAT-4722) that allows LSx owners to utilize the ports already cast in their engine blocks to plumb their oil cooler with AN -10 hoses.  Compared to stock cooler lines, this reduces backpressure in the oil system, which improves oil pressure and flow in the engine.

            The billet aluminum adapter has clearly labeled “in” and “out” ports and has been compactly designed to accommodate existing wiring harnesses and full length headers, as well as other components in the immediate vicinity (thermal insulation is recommended for all wires). 
The result is an attractive adapter, laser-etched with the “Katech Performance” logo, that maximizes available engine space (adapter uses M6 x 1.00 x 45mm bolts and production gasket).

            LSx oil cooler adapter buyers can also purchase AN -10 “in” and “out” port fittings through Katech Performance, which offers a complete C6 Z06 Oil Cooler Adapter Kit (KAT-A47226).  The kit includes AN -10 fittings, premium Goodridge cloth hose, Heatshield Products thermal insulation hose wrap and necessary M6 x 1.00 x 45mm bolts.

            C6 Z06 owners can also purchase a Ron Davis aluminum radiator (1-1CV06E) with integrated oil cooler (with AN -10 ports) directly from Katech Performance.
