Holder Off-Road announces availability of LED auxiliary driving lights
Irvine, California, USA, February 27th, 2007 – Holder Off-Road announces availability of their revolutionary new XTC line of LED auxiliary driving lights. They’ve captured the imagination of off-road racers in Southern California in places like the Glamis Dunes and will now be available for sale starting March 1st, 2007. LEDs are transforming the way we look at lighting and no place is the LED more useful than the off-road world. Holder Off-Road’s LEDs provide better brightness, much higher color recognition, superior uniformity, dramatically greater durability, lower weight and longer life than HID lamps.
The first edition Holder Off-road LEDs first appeared in Southern California when Craig Reynolds crossed the finish line first in his F-150 at the MDR series night race in Lucerne, CA. last August. Since that time Holder Off-Road LEDs have been installed on everything from Rhinos to Quads and Custom off-road racecars with terrific results.
Holder Off-Road’s LEDs were developed from the ground up to provide an efficient driving light that provides better visibility and safety for off-road use. The patented Hybrid optical components of Holder Off-Road LEDs are professionally designed and manufactured by IMS, an optical design company in Southern California that is at the forefront of LED optical technology.
The LEDs are available from ten to sixty inches in ten inch increments. They are available in two beam patterns; a tight, piercing, focused beam and a wide angle flood version. Holder Off-Road LEDs are a slight 3 inches tall which provides an excellent form factor for easy integration into grilles, bumpers, rooftops, roll-cages, etc.
The lightweight, all aluminum, housing of the LEDs is designed to be cool enough to allow the user to position the light beam with the lights turned on. Even after hours of racing the lights can be handled.
The LEDs weigh just 2.5 lbs per ten-inch segment, consume only 40 watts and draw just 3.3 amps.
Holder Off-Road LEDs are so durable they may outlast the vehicle they are attached to. There is no bulb in the traditional sense to break or fracture. The LEDs aren’t susceptible to damage due to vibration; heat, cold, normal impact, or other usual enemies of HIDs.
Holder Off-Road LEDs are available from a growing list of dealers at prices that will please the Baja racer and the weekend warrior.
