Why I Ride - ATV Writing Contest

Win an Photo Shoot at an upcoming WORCS Race

Feb. 06, 2007 By Pattie Waters

You ride, you race. However you enjoy your ATV-ing in the West, we want to know about it and share it.

Write 100 – 300 words (paragraph or two) about why you ride or race. We’ll pick the best entries to Feature on Off-Road.com.  Make it funny or heartfelt. Just make it memorable.

The winning riders (or a rider of their choice) will get a promotional photo shoot - stills and action - at an upcoming WORCS event!

Two winners will be picked - one youth and one adult.  These images will be provided to the rider in high resolution format for use on their own web site, in print promotions, fan trading cards, Christmas cards, posters, whatever.

Keep in mind that images we use on Off-Road.com are usually only posted at 75 - 80% of their best quality. You would get original, printable quality images. If you have sponsors for your racing now or want sponsors in the future, it’s vital to have good clear pictures for thank you's, resumes and press releases. We’re providing our reporter as your own personal professional photographer.

Come on - many of you have asked, "How can I get my picture on Off-Road.com" or "Can I get an original of that great shot to give to my sponsor?" Here's your chance. Gear you whole team together, put on your best new riding gear, spit-shine that race quad, and we'll do the rest.

Winners also get a stylin’ Off-Road.com hat or t-shirt.

Entries submitted by the Winners and Honorable Mention will run in a Feature on Off-Road.com. So don't write anything you don't want shared with the world...

We'll be expanding this program to include racers on the other side of the country too, to win a photo shoot at a GNCC event.

You can type your entry in the box below, or email to
editor@off-road.com
.

Good luck, and get writing! First winner will be chosen March 7, so the photo shoot can take place at Round 3, Lake Havasu City AZ.

*You don't have to be a WORCS racer to enter, but you do have to be at a WORCS race to take advantage of the photo shoot with our reporter. You are still eligible to win an ORC t-shirt or hat.
