Polaris Adds Private-Label Winch to PURE Polaris ATV Accessory Offering

The 2500-lb. winch offers consumers top-quality at a great value

May. 03, 2006 By Press Release

Polaris Industries today announced the introduction of a Polaris brand winch to its PURE Polaris product line of ATV accessories.  The new, 2500 lb winch is part of the company's goal to provide ATV enthusiasts
with a variety of top-quality products at competitive prices.

"PURE Polaris is dedicated to offering its ATV customers a wide selection of merchandise to meet their individual needs," said Cassey Murphy, PURE Polaris marketing manager. "The PURE Polaris winch offers consumers high-quality at a great value when outfitting their ATV."

From self-recovery and recovering other vehicles, to removing old tree stumps or downed trees, a winch is a must-have for any utility ATV. Designed, engineered and tested by Polaris to ensure high standards of quality, the Polaris 2500 lb winch features a powerful, reliable 1.2 horsepower permanent magnet motor; a full steel planetary gear drive system; and mechanical and dynamic braking to eliminate unwanted free-spooling.  The winch also includes a roller fairlead, a mini-rocker switch with a handlebar mounting bracket, fifty feet of 3/16" steel
cable and is CE approved.

The Polaris 2500 lb winch is a great value with stand-out features not found on other winch offerings. Along with being one of the few winches to offer a 1.2 horsepower motor, the winch also includes a braking system and a one-year limited/full replacement warranty for added convenience. Instead of traditional repair warranties where the customer must ship the winch to a repair facility, the Polaris warranty enables the dealer to simply replace the faulty winch so customers don't have to wait for a repair.

Available in black wrinkle paint, the Polaris 2500 retails for $399.99 (U.S.), $479.99 (CAN), and is available at Polaris dealerships nationwide or online at www.polarisindustries.com.
