BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2
The BFGoodrich T/A KO2 represents the company’s fourth generation of its all-terrain tire, which is the first major update since the popular T/A KO tire unveiled 15 years ago. We had a chance to test the KO2 recently just south of the border in Baja California and came away impressed.The KO2 features a number of changes over the previous tire, including a thicker sidewall that is 20 percent stronger for improved durability and more resistance to sidewall splitting. BFG also reformulated the tire compound of the tread to double the treadlife on gravel and improve on-road wear by 15 percent. A unique, zigzag siping design is also incorporated into the tread to provide improved mud and snow traction.
