“It is a dream come true! Ever since I was a little kid I held Red Bull athletes in awe. I am excited about the 2007 season. We plan on being one of the top competitors in Trophy Trucks,” stated the confident McMillin.
The new dark blue and black Red Bull branded Trophy Truck was unveiled at the season-opening SCORE Laughlin Challenge. The dark blue and black paint scheme features the Red Bull logo, as well as the infamous McMillin “M,” and Andy’s new #31 logo. The truck also features the new “wind tunnel” tested body design.
The 19-year-old McMillin, from San Diego, is a third generation off-road racer. The grandson of the late off-road legend, Corky McMillin, Andy began riding in off-road vehicles when he was a young child. At just two years old, he started pre-running desert races with his father, Scott, from a modified car seat. Mentored by his father and grandfather, Andy was taught the art of off-road racing at an early age. Although he is one of the youngest competitors in the sport today, he has multiple class and overall wins to his credit.
