Superlift Suspensions unveiled a host of suspension systems today at the SEMA Show. Amongst the intros was a 6-inch system for 2007-2008 Toyota Tundra pickups. A pair of one-piece crossmembers in the front are used to relocate the lower controls arms and are tied together with a 3/16-inch thick skidplate. Replacement knuckles are then employed to simplified installation and retain steering geometry. Blocks are used in the back and the system clears 35-inch tires.

Also introduced were 2.5, 4 and 6-inch suspension systems for the new 2009 Dodge Ram 1500. Similar in design theory to the new Tundra system, the Dodge suspension employs crossmembers to drop the lower control arms along with new knuckles to correct steering geometry. Billet CV spacers along with two-inch spacers for the struts are also used. In the rear new dual-rate coil springs are used along with relocation brackets for the factory control arms, track bar, brake lines, sway bar end links and bumpstops. Both the 4.5 and 6-inch systems clear 37-inch tires while the 2.5-inch clears 35’s.

Superlift also unveiled its new Level-It coil spacer line. It is for truck and SUV owners who want aftermarket wheels and tires but do not the added expense of a whole new suspension system. The easy to install kits use coil spacers to raise the front of the vehicle slightly to clear plus size tires/wheels and compensate for the added weight of a winch or snowplow. Most of the spacers can be installed at home in under two hours.

The Level-It kits for coil sprung trucks (including many Ford F-150’s, Super Duty’s, 1/2 –ton 2WD Chevy’s and 4WD Dodge Ram’s) range from 2 to 3.5-inches. Most systems use laser-cut 7mm (thicker than 1/4") spacers that mount on top of the factory coils. Silent operation throughout suspension cycling is common to all kits. When necessary, shock extensions are included.

Taller systems (3" to 3.5") can create a rear-low stance. To level the truck or produce the factory-look rake, Superlift offers a variety of optional rear lift blocks (sold separately). Longer front shocks (also sold separately) are recommended for some of these taller Level-Kit kits. All components are backed by Superlift’s Limited Lifetime warranty.
