Click Here For Wallpaper Primm, NV -- Flying his new Pflueger Racing banner, Alan Pflueger deftly piloted his Chevy Protruck to his first overall Protruck victory at the 7th Annual SCORE Las Vegas Primm 300, Saturday, September 14. "Wow, what a day," said Pflueger will a huge smile. "This is just incredible. This is really a special race for me. I made my four-wheel debut here a year ago and now here I am taking my first overall Protruck win. What a great anniversary!" It's awesome and a fantastic way to celebrate the end of my first year."

Driving a perfect race, Pflueger completed the four 71 mile laps in 5 hours, forty-three minutes and 24 seconds. In additional to his first place finish, Pflueger also scored a 15th overall out of 114 starters. "Apart from some really bad dust, we ran flawlessly the entire day," he continued. "My crew chief John Hoffman and the entire team did a great job. Everything was right on and our pit stops went like clockwork."

Pulling off the startline in first, Pflueger basically ran in front for almost the entire race. "At one point, Steve Barlow got past me," he explains. "But we got him back within a few minutes. After that, it was pretty clear sailing. The biggest problem was the dust, but it didn't get us and that's all that mattered."

Currently ranked second in the Protruck point's battle, Pflueger has now set his sights on winning the SCORE Baja 1000, November 20-23. "We have the truck and the team," he says. "We just proved that. Dan Ragland will be joining me to share driving duties and with the two of us and the team's expertise, I think we will be right there."
