New Bulletproof Lift Kit for the 2007 Motor Trend Truck of the Year
(MENTONE, California – April 30, 2007) Motor Trend Magazine recently named the 2007 Chevy Silverado as its Truck of the Year, leading Bulletproof Suspension to release several lift kits designed specifically for this popular vehicle. "The Silverado impressed us most of all because it is a great reworking of an iconic American vehicle," said Angus MacKenzie, editor in chief of Motor Trend. "The Chevy pick up truck has been a part of the American automotive landscape for decades. This Silverado takes it into the twenty-first century."
And Bulletproof Suspension takes the Silverado 2500 HD into the territory beyond. Bulletproof lift kits have long been popular with off-road Chevy enthusiasts. Bryan Brown, owner of Bulletproof, said, “last year, about 400-500 of our kits were installed on ’06 Chevy trucks. The customer feedback has been excellent, and so this year we are pleased to offer both 6-8 inch and 10-12 inch kits for the Silverado.”
Known for strength, durability, and a rugged gloss black finish, Bulletproof’s 6-8” lift kits will fit any 35-37” tire, while the 10-12” kits will accommodate 38-40” tires. These kits work with all factory air-ride or non air-ride suspensions and coil overs. On most trucks, installation of a lift kit requires you to cut the differential, but not with Bulletproof suspensions. Lift heights are adjustable from 6-8 inches, or 10-12 inches depending on the Bulletproof kit you install. The 6-8 inch kit has the option of adding a dual shock system and Fox shocks, and the 10-12 inch kits come with 7-piece heim steering, heavy wall tie rods, and include a dual shock system with the option of adding Fox shocks.
Bulletproof suspension kits are built with unbeatable durability, an attractive powder coat finish, high-grade heim joints, heavy-duty ball joints, an alignment friendly system, and a lifetime warranty - no matter how extreme the off road usage. Kits for each vehicle include all necessary components, which vary based on vehicle and kit. Kits may include a one-piece cage, upper control arm drop downs, differential drop downs, steering drop downs, sway bar drop downs, impact bars, steel braided brake lines, blocks and U-bolts. Options include front coil overs, uni-ball A-arms, leaf springs, or a different brand of shocks.
