Eric and my truck at Merrimac Butte, near Moab, Utah

I bought my 1992 Dodge Dakota LE in Houston, Texas in April 1992. I have been in Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Kansas, Colorado, Arizona, Utah, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho and Nevada with my truck. In 1993, Tuff Country, a suspension company in Salt Lake City, installed a four inch lift on my truck in 1993. This allows me to use bigger tires to give me more clearance for some really spectacular four wheeling! This truck has been great. I have done some serious four wheeling and have taken some of Utah's and Colorado's toughest trails. Four wheeling allows me to get into some beautiful country.

Most four wheelers I know believe in treading lightly and packing out what we pack in. Despite this, certain government agencies continually try to limit our access to our public lands. The eco-nuts are ruining our country and our freedoms!

Wipe Out Hill, near Moab, Utah. I had just previously gone down.

Coming up Mary Ellen's Gulch in Utah. Not only was it steep, it was very muddy. The Forest Service continually tries to illegally shut down roads like this.

Here, I'm coming across a tailing pile from an old silver mine. This area was mined extensively in the late 1800's. Miners today, must totally reclaim the land and leave it in better shape than they found it.

A view back down Mary Ellen's gulch.
