The Off-Road Expo kicked off today at the Pomona Fairplex. The gathering of all things off-road brought out something for the Jeep crowd, the truck crowd, racers, rock-crawlers, campers and Overland off-roaders, UTV and powersports enthusiasts and more.
Off-Road Expo featured a variety of vendors and activities for fans, such as Lucas Oil Off-Road demonstration, a Toyota Ride and Drive area, Yamaha ATV and UTV demonstration track, freestyle motocross, a collection of off-road vehicles and Baja racing memorabilia at SCOREville, autograph signings and more.
There were a few pretty big announcements made at the show as well, including a drawing for the starting positions for the 45th Tecate SCORE Baja 1000, the 2013 Ultra4 schedule, as well as BFGoodrich’s opening of its Outstanding Trails nomination period.
The show continues tomorrow as well, with many of the same events taking place along with the Lucas Oil Off-Road Expo Bikini Contest. The hours for Sunday October 7 are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. More information is available at www.offroadexpo.com.
