It has been discovered that after some use, cracks may appear in the inner fixed half flange or in the outer sliding half flange of the TRA drive pulley. If you own one of the above-mentioned machines, Bombardier recommends you do not operate your snowmobile before it has been inspected and repaired. Current owners are asked to contact their authorized Ski Doo dealer to have the necessary repairs performed. Parts and labor charges will be paid by Bombardier. Bombardier apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause the owners and assures them this course of action has been taken in the interest of owner's safety and continued satisfaction with Ski Doo products. If you have any questions regarding this recall, please call an authorized Ski Doo dealer or Bombardier Recreational Products in Valcourt, Quebec at 1-(514)-532-2211. We here at Snowmobile Online recommend our readers pass this information along to anybody they know that may have one of these machines. We would like to thank fellow snowmobiler and Ski Doo owner, Mark Austin, for bringing this recall to our attention. Be sure and click on the recall notice picture above for a larger view.
