Jeep Scrambler
Built from 1981 to 1986, the CJ-8 or Scrambler was an extended-wheelbase version of the CJ-7. With a 103-inch wheelbase and a removable half-cab roof design, the Scrambler had a pickup box instead of a full pickup bed. Most had manual-transmissions with four or five gears, but a three-speed automatic was available. The transfer had manual-locking hubs. Perhaps the most famous Scrambler customer was Ronald Regan.
