Superlift Jeep TJ Wrangler 4" & 6" Long-Arm Kits

Jul. 31, 2007 By Press Release

West Monroe, LA: Superlift announces high-performance suspension systems for Jeep TJ Wranglers and Wrangler Unlimiteds. These Rockrunner Long-Arm Series lifts are available in two heights: 4" and 6".

Both kits center on high-articulation link arms. Two full-length Rockrunner arms at each corner provide exceptional clearance, full steering and incredible suspension flex. Rockrunner arms feature internal swivels that out-travel Heim ends; steel-encased rubber bushings at certain link mounting points ensure bind-free articulation, vibration dampening, extended service life and noise-free operation. Further, the arms' flat operating angle creates ideal weight transfer characteristics and alignment geometry. These arms are made of .188"-wall DOM tubing (lowers 2" OD; uppers 1.5” OD) and laser-cut .25"-thick plate steel. The Rockrunner arms bolt directly to the TJ axles (optional longer female swivel ends increase wheelbase 1", 2" or 3").

Lift comes from taller-than-stock coil springs. Base Rockrunner kits also include compression-travel-control components, front threaded-style swaybar quick-disconnects, and adjustable track bars with mounting brackets. Additional components included in the 6" kit are rear swaybar disconnects, a dropped pitman arm and extended-length braided-steel brake hoses with Kevlar-reinforced liners. The Superlift steering system works with the tie-rod mounted either above or below the knuckle.

The Rockrunner system's arms anchor to a 2-piece skidpan assembly. A 3/16"-thick inner pan serves as a transmission support, and the full-width 1/4"-thick primary pan installs separately to make driveline maintenance easier. Flush-mounted fasteners maximize ground clearance.

Many options and upgrades are available. First and foremost, TJ owners have three shock choices: Superlift Superide, monotube Superide Select Series (SS) or Superide Select Series with remote reservoir (SSR). SSRs can be combined with an optional coilover conversion. This improves ride quality and reduces lift force when climbing obstacles thanks a noise-free, progressive-rate single coil on each shock.

Other available options include an eXtreme Clearance Flat Skidpan (available for high-pinion applications), Superlift eXtreme Ring diff cover protectors and the TruSpeed speed-sensor recalibrator. All components are backed by Superlift’s Limited Lifetime Warranty.
