AJ Laird: " I bought the rig almost new in
1989 with less than 10,000 miles on the rig. I bought the rig as a
daily driver and snow rig. You know the basic stuff like cloth
seats, AC, tow package and stereo. I used the jeep for about one
year totally stock. Then one day I decided to take a little trail
and promptly dented the rocker panel on a little berm. Well that
started the whole thing. Back home to install larger tires. Then
off to my first Jeep jamboree and then on to a basic lift. I had
two choices back then, Rancho or trail master. Both with
add-a-leafs. I have had nothing but fun since with my Jeep. It has
not only been the family rig, Ski rig, summer windsurfing rig it is
also our favorite toy. "
