2000 Updates

  • Radiators mounted further back and closer to the frame backbone to allow a narrower tank and shroud profile (wider steering angle).
  • Fuel tank capacity increased to up to 2.2 gallons (more autonomy, different sleeker shape favors movement and allows more leg room).
  • Modified suspension linkage/longer rear shock absorber produces different raise ratio leading to more stable front/rear balance, more progressive functioning, enhanced and smoother traction.
  • Flat slide Dell’Orto carburetor (VHSB 38 mm) for smoother throttle response from zero RPM to maximum power, to make the bike more user friendly in tight/slow conditions.
  • New exhaust pipes (same length) for improved gas flow, more low RPM power, and head pipes that don’t stick out from engine cases, but are tucked in under water pump better.
  • Frame strengthened in key points, for more rigidity and better durability.
  • New frame and engine bolts for improved clearance and improved strength.
  • New Magura hydraulic clutch for more progressive plusher feel. Oil circuit stops outside case, and is easier to maintain and fix.
  • New Brembo brake master cylinder (smaller, lighter for better oil flow).
  • Wider stronger foot pegs.
  • New graphics.
  • Paioli 46 mm inverted forks with all new internals for plusher, more adaptive feel to small/medium bumps, without losing rigidity on big stuff.
