Think your CRF needs more low-end power? You are not alone! Even Honda themselves thought the same thing, that's why for 2003 they redesigned the cam to provide more low-end. White Brothers has created an adjustable cam sprocket to do just this. While it is not a night and day difference, it is noticeable and provides and extra boost when shooting out of corners.
Just like White Brothers claims the power does come on sooner. You will notice with the slightest touch of the throttle the big CRF will start tossing some roosters.

The increased power is achieved through advancing the intake valve timing. As far as weight is concerned for you gram counters out there, the WB sprocket is essentially identical to stock. The sprocket increases power from 1700 to 7000 rpm. At $74.95 this is a product I would recommend to anyone looking for more low-end. Installing the WB sprocket did not warrant any jetting changes. You may need to play with the fuel-mixture screw if the off-idle response seems a little off. This product is applicable only to 2002 models. Once again WB has made a winning product.
