BIG BOY SCOOOTERS' V SERIES A MILESTONE
IN STAND-UP SCOOTER TECHNOLOGY

SAN CLEMENTE, CA - Bridging the gap between recreational "toy" and high performance machine, Big Boy Scooters has raised the bar in moto-scooter technology for 2003 with its new "V Series" breed of stand-up scooters. The V Series offers a variety of innovative features not found in any other scooter, making it the most powerful and sophisticated in its class.

For starters, Big Boy's V Series machines are produced in the USA, a rarity in today's scooter market. The heat-treated all-aluminum frame is powered by multiple engine options including 2-stroke or 4-stroke, delivering top speeds of 28 mph and more. Both the V-5 and V-6 offer full-suspension with more travel than any other scooter - 4.75" in the rear, a full 5" in front. Other innovations include duel disc brakes, adjustable triple-clamp front forks, and an exceptional drive train system that includes an enclosed reduction gearbox with adjustable chain drive and interchangeable sprockets. The V-5 comes standard with 10" pneumatic tires, bumped up to 14" on the V-6. Both models are available with light kit and seat option.

These features alone boost the Big Boy V Series into a class by itself, but there's more. For 2003, Big Boy will unveil two more "firsts": the first gas-electric hybrid scooter engine, setting the trend for environmentally friendly stand-up scooters; and the first five-speed transmission system on a stand-up scooter, providing more power at all speeds and terrain conditions. Both these innovations will be introduced in early 2003.
