ORC delivers real time race coverage!!! BRIAN ICKLER/SCORELITE #1210 WINS THE OVERALL IN RACE 1
Start/Finish - Brian Ickler continued his domination in the field after
scoring second place at Henderson in July. Today he roared back
into the Nevada desert and took first in his class as well as
winning the overall in the first race here in Primm, Nevada against
competitive cars in Class 10 with more suspension. An incredible
win for Brian Ickler today at the PRIMM 300.
Start/Finish - Steve Meyers led Class 10 most of the day and his Jimco-Toyota
race vehicle performed flawlessly here at Primm, Nevada today.
After a dissappointing finish in the Henderson race back in July
where he finish last in class and in 7th place, today was a
different story. With co-driver George Erl, they brought home the
Jimco to a big class win in Race 1.

Pit B:
ORC's Pit B
mobile satellite crew got rousted by the desert's finest law dogs,
the BLM Rangers. After over an hour of broadcasting from this
location minding our own business, we met Mr. Personality from the
BLM. The crew was forced to move from the Knight Ranch Road
location to behind the Pit B even though we have every SCORE access
decal available for this race. This caused the satellite to be down
for over an hour.
However, the race between
Meyers and Ickler is raging in the Nevada desert. It's down to the
wire. Stay tuned.

Start/Finish -Aaron Howley leads Class 1/2 1600. The first Class 9 and
Sportsman cars (3 lap racers) should finish within 1 hour.

Pit B:
The road
crossing at Pit B is launching these racers over the road and onto
the ramp leading into Pit B. It's a pedal mashing race.
Ickler #1210 just crossed through Pit B at 10:21
on Lap 4 and continues to lead this race overall.

Brookshire leads overall with 3 laps completed. Ellison, Halopoff
(Class 10) and Chuck Collins (Class 1/2 1600 are out of the
race.
Pit C:The race course is very
smooth and clean from the recent dumping of rain in the Southern
Nevada region. Here at Pit C they are racing side-by-side through
the Pit section at full throttle. The temps are in the mid 80's and
the crowds are enjoying the race action here at Pit C. We are off
to Pit B for updated action in the next 30 minutes.

Parkhouse raging on Lap 3 and it's been reported that he just cleared Check #4 at 9:54 am. Stay tuned.

Meyers leads Class #10. Howley, leads 1/2 1600. Halopoff not in on

BILSTEIN 6:00 AM RACE UPDATE
Primm, Nevada:
The
SCORE-International PRIMM 300 is well under way as the leaders are
off the start line here at Buffalo Bills Casino parking lot. The
smell of race fuel mixed in with the clouds of dust is what every
desert racer wants to wake up to. And this morning before Sal Fish
sent the desert racers off to a long race, PCI Racing's own
Rhiannon Freiley, also known as The Sweet Devil, performed for the
early morning crowd singing the Star Spangled Banner. Shortly
thereafter, Sal Fish sent off the first racers for a great day of
racing. Stay tuned for the latest updates and lap-by-lap scoring as
ORC staffers head out to the race course to provide you with the
latest race coverage.
