23:50 - More quotes from the racers.

#1545 - Dale Ebberts - "It was real dusty. The two of us never had to get out of the car. We started eighth in Class 1 group and 18th overall. Our strategy was with fueling, to keep us ahead of the competition. It's brutal - rocks everywhere. It's amazing that these tires could hold up to such abuse. I got to hand it to B.F. Goodrich for this." (editor) Dale was the first four-wheel vehicle over the finish line in his Fat Performance Toyota motor that has been the entire length of the Baja 2000, the MDR Kartek 400 and this 526 mile race.

#622 - Daryl Hambleton, Acton, Calif. - "I'm the only one not from Hawaii here. . . We won. We're first 35 expert and probably top 10 overall. We didn't get one flat and the same air filter, but I don't know. Hell, you could grow a Chia pet out the air filter." (editor) This team included ISDE rider, Matt Lyman and Mauna Kea Enduro Champ, Steve Trines.

22:10 - More finishers. #1504 - Nick Baldwin at 21:32, Protruck #1256 - Kevin McGillivray at 21:32 followed by Protruck #1270 - Scott Steinberger at 21:39, #8022 - Mark Beeler (Correction) at 21:48, #1222 - John Becker at 21:58, #1227 - Steve Scaroni at 22:01, #1299 - Steve Barlow at 22:01.

21:20 - We still do not have accurate, BITD timing but, we can safely call an upset win by Dale Ebberts as the winner in the Car/Truck classes. Also, Mark McMillin (vehicle #1507) has crossed the finish line in the Ford powered, Chenowth car at 20:44.

20:42 - The BITD Scoring officials are experiencing database problems. We rely on their raw data to produce our results, web pages. We have been told that we will not have data 'till 2245hrs. Both, BITD and Off-Road.com appreciate your paitence.

20:37 - Damen Jefferies brings the first Trophy Truck (vehicle #1410) and 4th car/truck entry across the finish line at 20:25. Larry Ragland crosses the finish line in the Collins Trophy Truck (vehicle #1407) at 20:37.

20:30 - Racer's quotes.

20:08 - Larry Roeseler brings the Truggy (vehicle #1503) in just behind Dale Ebberts. Kyle Taylor is the 3rd truck/car across the finish line in vehicle #8001. We do not have exact timing yet on the Ebberts' or the Truggy finish but, we believe that Dale holds enough of a lead due to a starting position, four minutes behind the Herbst Truggy.

20:01 - Car #1545, Dale Ebberts is the first car across the finish line. Talk is that Troy Herbst, in the Truggy is hot on his tail.

18:10 - Initial, results are up. CLICK HERE to go there. Johnny Campbell (Honda) takes the overall Bike/Quad win by 31 seconds over 2nd place, Shane Esposito (Kawasaki). We are receiving data slowly from BITD. Both BITD and Off-Road.com Thank you for your paitence.

15:52: - Johnny Campbell of Team Honda appears to be the Bike Class Winner with the shortest time on course. So far, three bikes have crossed the finish line in the following order: Bike #N14, Shane Esposito (Kawasaki), Bike #N2 Jonah Street (Honda), Bike #N1 Johnny Campbell (Honda). Actual BITD scoring info to follow shortly.

14:40: - Bike #N14, Shane Esposito (Kawasaki) leads Bike #N2 Street (Honda) by less than a minute at pit #14 "Fallon", race mile 467.

14:30: - Truck #1407, Brian Collins is the lead car/truck on the course and has just left Pit #7 "Tonopah", race mile 233.

14:17 - Bike #N2, Jonah Street (Honda) and #N14, Shane Esposito (Kawasaki) have cleared pit #13 at Rawhide, race mile 430 of 528.

13:25 - We are back from our photo spot at race mile #26. The first bike through at @0655hrs, was Jonah Street on his Factory Honda, followed close by Shane Esposito and Destry Abbott, both on Kawasaki KX500's. About four or more minutes back was Johnny Campbell, whom looked to be off the pace.

The first truck through was Gary Vosburg with Ed Herbst closing quickly. The following order was Brian Collins, John Swift, Lonnie Helmbolt, Jason Baldwin, Jim Baldwin, Kory Scheeler (Unlimited, open wheel) followed by Damen Jefferies. Damen was first off the line. We can only guess that he suffered a flat tire in early going. Second, open wheel car and just behind Jefferies was Troy Herbst. The Protruck order was: Becker, Scaroni, Pflueger, Stiles, McGillvray, Cobb, Reinertson, Barlow, Steinberger. Pretty much a mirror of the starting order.

12:50 - Bike #N2, Jonah Street (Honda) and #N14 Shane Esposito (Kawasaki) are through checkpoint #D, race mile 367.
