Here’s What it Takes to Get a Dakar Race Truck Back on Its Wheels in Sand Dunes

The 40th Dakar Rally sent all of its racers through endless miles of dunes and getting stuck in the sand can be miserable.

Even worse than getting stuck is rolling your vehicle in the sand because getting traction to pull it back to its wheels isn’t an easy thing to do. But the spirit of the Dakar Rally is teamwork and even though these racers are competing against each other, they all came together to get this big rig back to its wheels.

Without giving too much away, the competitors that got this truck back to its wheels used some ingenuity and one of the sand dunes to their advantage. Watch the video below.
