Visalia, Calif. – Hellwig Products teamed up with the top aftermarket manufacturers in the industry to build a one-of-a-kind 2016 Nissan Titan XD diesel overland truck and camper for the 2016 SEMA Show. The overlanding pickup truck will be equipped with a customized Lance Camper and will make its debut on November 1st, 2016 in the Hellwig Suspension Products Booth #34075.

The all-new 2016 Nissan Titan XD was chosen as the platform for the build for its powerful Cummins diesel engine, tough new look and its originality. The 650 Truck Camper by Lance that will be riding in the bed of the truck is the perfect match for the project – offering an extremely roomy and comfortable interior and lightweight aluminum frame construction that’s half-ton pick-up truck friendly. Keeping the Titan XD firmly planted on the road and helping it deal with the added weight of the camper is the job of Hellwig’s new forged rear sway bar and 2,800 lb. “Big Wig” air bags – which are also making their debut at the 2016 SEMA Show.

The work on the truck build is being handled by the experts at LGE-CTS Motorsports in San Dimas, California. While under LGE-CTS’s care, the Titan XD is receiving a variety of purpose-driven upgrades including a leveling coilover kit by Icon Vehicle Dynamics, fender flares by Bushwhacker, a 4-inch DPF-back exhaust by MagnaFlow, Method Wheels, Falken Tires, Baja Designs lights, a Fab Fours bumper, nerf bars by N-Fab, a winch by Warn, camper mounts and tie downs by Torklift, locks by Bolt Locks, and a Hypertech programmer for tire size correction.
