Can-Am recently pulled the cover off of its latest side-by-side, the Maverick X3, unveiling to the off-road world the vehicle it had been teasing over the past month. The new X3 will be offered in three different models, including the base X3, X3 X ds, and the X3 X rs, the last of which will provide up to 24 inches of suspension travel. The Maverick X3 is also headlined by its turbocharged, intercooled triple-cylinder Rotax ACE engine rated to produce 154 horsepower. Can-Am says the Maverick X3 is capable of producing a 0-60 mph time of 4.9 seconds.

Can-Am also recently announced the pricing breakdown for the Maverick X3, with the MSRP starting at $22,999 for the white version of the base model. The Maverick X3 X ds will be offered in two color option, including Triple Black and Circuit Yellow, both of which will have an MSRP $24,999. The Maverick X3 X rs will be offered in two colors as well, with the Triple Black version priced at $26,699, while the Gold and Can-Am Red $26,899.

BRP president and CEO José Boisjoli explained Can-Am’s goal with its new Maverick X3, which is essentially to set the new benchmark in the fast-growing sport segment.

“With the Can-Am Maverick X3, we set a goal to deliver a clear leader in the sport segment, and our teams worked together and produced a bold vehicle with incredible looks, agility and performance,” Boisjoli said. “The Maverick X3 is the latest addition to our off-road model lineup as we continue to deliver on our promise to introduce a new side-by-side vehicle every six months through 2020.”
