Portland, OR – Bushwacker is now offering two styles of fender flares for the refreshed 2016 GMC Sierra 1500. The company’s offerings include its “OE” Style and Extend-A-Fender flares.

The “OE” Style flares offer 0.75-inches of additional tire coverage and provide the truck with the appearance of an upmarket trim level. The Extend-A-Fender flares provide 1.25-inches of tire coverage, which is great for trucks with bigger tires and wider wheels. Tire coverage is measured from the wheel well sheet metal out.

Both flares are made from a smooth, 100% UV-protected Dura-Flex® 2000 material, and wear an OE matte-black finish that won’t fade yet can be painted. They install easily without having to cut the sheetmetal, and instantly add a custom look to the Sierra 1500. The flares may also help the vehicle comply with local tire coverage laws.
