A radical new approach to the design, manufacture and distribution of high-end automotive accessories has launched. The startup company Anthem Off-Road produces custom truck and Jeep wheels through the help of its “Team Anthem” network – an online community of off-road enthusiasts who collaborate with the company to offer suggestions and critiques throughout the design process. Once a new design is rated high enough by the team, it is confirmed to production and then sold exclusively through the Anthem Off-Road website. By sidestepping traditional distribution channels in this way, Anthem is able to deliver the highest quality products at prices that are competitive with traditional manufacturers. They call it “Wheel Democracy in Action.”
“Wheel democracy means that real truck and Jeep owners can contribute to the design process of our wheels, submit ideas, and ultimately have a voice in the development of the brand,” said Anthem Off-Road Co-Founder, David Rauch. “We’ve reviewed thousands of votes, ideas, and comments from our community so far, and that’s what led to the design of the Defender and the Enforcer wheel designs. We’re blown away at the quality of feedback from Team Anthem.”
The first wheel designs have already been ‘Team Anthem approved’ and will be available this spring. Pre-orders, with special discounts, can be made on the website as well.
Truck and off-road enthusiasts are encouraged to visit the website to join Team Anthem. Team members:
* View non-public wheel concepts and provide feedback to make improvements
* Get behind the scenes access to what it’s like to start a wheel company
* Share feedback and ideas to help shape the future of the brand
* Receive early access to giveaways, product announcements, etc.
To give back to its community, the company is also offering 10 sponsorship packages that only Team Anthem members are eligible to receive.
