After racers tackled the 3.4-mile course, it was Dale Dondel who earned the fastest qualifying time at time trials for the 2014 Mint 400, edging out Bryce Menzies for the first spot off the line for Saturday’s race. With Menzies posting the second fastest time, it was Robby Gordon who took third place at the time trials.
Harley Letner earned the fourth fastest time on the qualifying course just outside of Las Vegas, Nevada, while Justin Lofton rounded out the top five. The Mint 400 will kick off with the limited-class racers in Jean, Nevada, Saturday morning at 6 a.m., while unlimited racers will take the starting line at 1 p.m.

After qualifying, the action continued on Freemont Street in Downtown Las Vegas, where Dani Mathers of Glendale, California, was crowned the 2014 Miss Mint Winner, earning $5,000 and a one-year lease on a Honda Civic.
Following the Miss Mint competition was the KMC Pit Crew Competition, where TSCO Racing defeated Menzies Motorsports in the semi-finals to then move to the finals and earn the title by beating Jones Motorsports by nearly 10 seconds.
