Mitch Guthrie – 1st Overall at 2012 UTV King of The Hammers
Mitch Guthrie, #555 took the overall win at 2012 UTV King of the Hammers in his Polaris RZR XP. Guthrie ran a flawless race, keeping a fast pace that gained momentum with each race mile. Todd Stephenson in the #1944 Artic Cat Wildcat took 2nd, making it an impressive first run for the Artic Cat Wildcat.

Over 40 UTVs embarked on the 2012 Pitbull Tire UTV King of The Hammers. With help from the International Side by Side Association (ISA), the sanctioned event broke the field into 5 different race classes–ranging from stock to highly modified UTVs. From Johnson Valley, nearly 80 miles of unforgiving desert and extreme rock terrain awaited the group of tenacious UTV racers.
Todd Stephenson #1944 Artic Cat Wildcat – 2nd Overall at 2012 UTV King of The Hammers
Todd Stephenson ran a strong race all day, making it a great debut for the Artic Cat Wildcat at KOH. Jared Newman and Jon Crowley kept the heat on Stephenson in their Polaris RZR XPs, leaving little margin for error.
Jared Newmann #2436 – 3rd Overall at 2012 UTV King of The Hammers
In the end, Jared Newmann would round up the field in the #2436 Polaris RZR XP. All three top finishers take a piece of the $5,000 prize money up for grabs at this year’s UTV King of The Hammers.
Overall Winner Mitch Guthrie from Glendora, CA walked away with cash and the coveted 2012 UTV KOH Hammer trophy.
