Honda 400 EX
Although it’s a far from the most powerful or best performing ATV on our list, Hondas 400EX makes the cut for its timely introduction and influence on the four stroke era we now enjoy today. While many racers complained the machine was heavy and didn’t steer well, there’s no arguing it had a bulletproof power plant and provided endless, reliable, fun for ATV enthusiasts. For ATV history buffs, the 400EX represents the shift in technology from 2 stoke to four stroke and the OEMS returning interest in the sport ATV segment.
