Apr. 01, 2007 By Dean Waters

Our long term 2007 Yamaha Grizzly 700 has become a favorite among the Off-Road.com staff and test riders. There is so many things that make the Grizzly easy to use.

How about using the Grizzly around home or on the farm? Well Yamaha Genuine Accessories just happens to make some products that can make the Grizzly even more useful. Below you will find three of those that we have thoroughly tested. And remember these are Genuine Yamaha. That means you can pick them up at any Yamaha dealer or you can even have them added on at the time of purchase of your brand new Grizzly 700.

Bucket Carrier

With 13 acres to take care of we use buckets all the time. Not just for feed and water but for everything. Tools, bolts, fence supplies, atv parts, you name it. Now if I had a good way to carry those buckets on the Grizzly. Enter the Bucket Holder from Yamaha Genuine Accessories. The Yamaha Bucket Holder is designed to hold two 5 gallon buckets.

This is the Bucket Holder ready for installation. The first thing you must do is remove the original rack. There is 6 bolts holding it in place.

Grizzly with the OEM rack removed. Now the bucket holder rack is in place without bucket holders.

Two easily removable bolts hold each bucket carrier. Rear profile is extended with such that one bucket is over each rear corner of the Grizzly.

The Bucket Carrier is designed for the 2007 Yamaha Grizzly and carries a price tag of MSRP of $154.95. The part number is ABA-3B475-00-00.

2" Receiver Hitch

Next up for the Grizzly was a receiver hitch. While you can mount a ball to the stock hitch we like having the ability to switch hitches to fit our needs. A 2" receiver hitch would do just that.

The part number for the 2" receiver hitch is ABA-3B486-00-00 and it carries a MSRP of $79.95.

Cargo Basket

Another useful Yamaha Accessory for putting your Grizzly 700 to work is the Cargo Basket. The Cargo Basket can be mounted front or rear but we chose to mount it in the front since we had the bucket carrier mounted in the rear.

The stock rack will be removed to mount the new Yamaha Cargo Basket. Plenty of space in the new cargo basket.

Like in the rear, we remove the 6 bolts holding the stock rack. Yamaha cargo rack bolted on the front of our Yamaha Grizzly 700.

The cargo basket works great for catching everything or anything when using your ATV to work.

The Yamaha Cargo Basket is listed as part number ABA-3B412-00-00 and carries a MSRP of $169.95.
