Every year in the middle of September the Sand Sports Super Show hits the Costa Mesa, CA Fair grounds. Each year it seems to grow both in displays and spectators. This year was no exception as the show was huge with lots to see! Hundreds of companies come to show off their newest products to the public. This year it seemed like it was more of a Rhino Super Show. Rhino's were everywhere you looked! There were also lots of sand cars with very few in a reasonable price range. Some of the high dollar cars were certainly incredible to look at and drool over. Just about every builder was there from the long time builders like Sand Cars Unlimited, Funco, Sand Limo, and Alumi Craft (to name a few) to brand new companies showcasing their newest creations. Along with sand toys there were many different types of toy haulers on display. We liked the looks of the new Weekend Warrior FSC3200. It has a nice roomy bathroom and a large front bedroom with a walk around bed. There were plenty of other trailers to look at the show as well, with different sizes and styles to suit anyone?s needs. As always the off-road organizations helping to keep the dunes open were there signing up new members and informing them of current issues at the dunes and what they are working on to help keep areas open. This included DUNERS.org, American Sand Association, CORVA, Friends of Dumont Dunes as well as others. The Sand Sports Super Show is a great place to see all the new toys as well as stock up on needed items like flags, tires or even order a new sand car or toy hauler. The best part about the show is it being a sign that dune season is less than a month away!! http://www.sandsportssupershow.com Below are just a few pictures of what was at the show.
