Ride Area of the Month - Big Rock ATV Park

Big Rock ATV park consists of nearly 2000 acres of riding area near Maysville,Kentucky. The terrain itself consists of many large wooded valleys and long open ridges. There are miles and miles of trails completely in the woods. The trails themselves consist of dozer made trails and rider made trails. There are plenty of challenging hill climbs to satisfy the most hardcore riders, and plenty of easy trails for kids and beginners. Big Rock is operated with safety and family fun in mind. Absolutely NO alcohol is allowedd on the premises, all riders are Required to Wear Helmets, and riding double is prohibited. The park has patrol riders on duty to help those in need, and to try and insure that everyone has a fun and safe riding experience. Only ATV's and dirtbikes are allowed at Big Rock, no Jeeps, trucks ,buggies,or 3-wheelers.
Getting there....
Big Rock is located just east of Maysville, Ky. off Rt 9, only a little over an hours drive from the Cincinnati, No. Kentucky area. The park is open every Saturday and Sunday, regardless of the weather, year round. The gates open at 9:00 am until 7:30 pm. The park is closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day, but open the day after Christmas and on New Years Day. Also open throughout the year on all long three day holidays, and weekdays for groups of 7 or more by advance reservation. There is primitive camping available, along with restroom, pressure washer and snack bar. The rates are $15 a day for adults,($25 for a two day pass) , $10 a day for children 12 to 17 and $5 a day for those under 12. All riders under 18 must have a signed release form signed by both parents and be accompanied by an adult. Visit the Big Rock ATV Park Online at:
