FMF Racing Titanium 4 Exhaust

Rancho Dominguez, CA - With the release of the new Titanium 4 exhaust system, this is FMF's first venture into the titanium market.

FMF owner, Don Emler, wanted to develop a titanium exhaust system that was modular in design and that would give the customer the option to mix and match components, so that it would suit their budget and performance needs. With the help of George Luttig, FMF's Director of R&D, they came up with the Titanium 4.

The Titanium 4 exhaust is constructed using military grade titanium to insure quality and durability, with the weight savings normally associated with this exotic material. The muffler is offered in two lengths. The standard 14" unit offers the greatest power gains at the expense of a louder sound level. This isn't the best choice for sound friendly places. The longer 17" unit has a bit less peak power trading it for increased low-end throttle response and a more respectable reduced sound level. The customer also has the option of combining it with either a stainless steel or titanium mid pipe. Performance will be the same between the two, but the titanium version has a higher price point. The muffler is fully tuneable with modular endcaps that shape the powerband and sound levels. A spark arrestor end cap is available when the need arises to be US Forestry legal as well.

In most cases the titanium exhaust is 50% lighter than stock, and generates right around a 20% increase in power.

Combine the Titanium 4 with either the FMF Hi-flo or Powerbomb (stainless/titanium) header for unmatched performance.

FMF is the only company on the market that offers a modular titanium exhaust that offers these options to the customer. The Titanium 4 exhaust retails from $274.98 with the stainless steel mid pipe and from $374.98 with the titanium mid pipe, for the Cannondale, Honda CRF450R, XR400R/600R/650R, TRX400EX, KTM400/520, Suzuki DRZ400/S and Yamaha YZF250/400/426, WR400/426, and Raptor.
