Day 2 at 2007 Dealer Expo

2007 Dealer Expo

Feb. 18, 2007 By Dean Waters

For Day 2 of 2007 Dealer Expo we continued to walk the halls looking for new and innovative products. As in past years these products could be hidden in any corner of the convention center from the Westin, to the Marriott, to the Dome. For 2008 the rumor is show officials may make it easier for us and the 1000's of dealers in attendance by grouping the exhibitors in categories. Our feet are definitely looking forward to this change. But in the mean time check out some of the cool products we found.

Redline Revolt
Do you remember the very innovative Redline Snowmobiles from a couple years ago? And then the bankruptcy that followed? Well Redline has new ownership and they are to market with their first product the Redline Revolt. This single seat machine boasts a 749cc twin with 75hp and a dry weight coming in under 700lbs. This baby should rip but it also carries a fairly hefty price tag of $14,999.

LRD Performance
With so many new companies at Dealer Expo 2007 marks 25 years for LRD Performance. To commemorate their anniversary LRD has developed a new line of exhaust systems with both performance and sound suppressing technology to reduce noise levels which is so critical to our industry and our ride areas. The systems feature a 5" muffler design with 2" stainless core and a new modular billet end cap. Included is a complete line for the mini quads.

SuperATV.com caught our eye with this bright orange Yamaha Rhino with flames. SuperATV.com specializes in lift kits and wheel adapters for ATV's and side by sides. This Rhino had a 6" lift and adapters to fit these huge 31"x15.50' tires. While the Rhino won't float with these tires they say the Polaris 800 WILL float when equipped with this same wheel and tire combo.

ATV Fender Welder
A new exhibitor showed us their ATV fender welder. If you have had to replace plastic recently you know just how expensive that is. How about welding it back together? Urethane Supply Company had the kit above for the consumer and a larger more complete kit for users or dealers who may need to make fender repairs more often.

This red Yamaha Rhino was equipped with many new and cool products from Speed Industries. All products are fully bolt on including the complete cage extension kit that bolts to the OEM cage. The Bimini Bar and Top are as lo bolt on along with the new rear headrest bar.

For 2007 the Fox Racing Float X Evol gets dual speed compression (DSC). You can now adjust the shocks high and low speed compression damping just by turning an external adjuster. For current owners it is completely backwards compatible for an easy upgrade.

ATV Fender Welder
Two Brothers Racing had a very trick dual exhaust system for the Yamaha Rhino. Optimized for power and sound this system looked very nice. For those on a budget they also had a single system available.

ATV Fender Welder
Xtreme Motor Company has a complete line of pit bikes and mini quads. We have been testing one of the Pro Stock 125 units and having a blast with it. Watch for a full report coming soon.

TJD has a brand new track system called the XGEN. This track has a new patented suspension system built into the track and is said to ride as smoothly as tires and is much easier to steer than previous designs. A redesigned mounting system also makes it easy to move from one model to another and is for use in any terrain. Mud, dirt, sand or snow. Bring it on.

We hope you found something to peak your interest and don't forget to check out our video coverage for even more products. Enjoy!
