The votes are in, the cyber-sledding community has spoken. The most significant sled of all-time, according to our readers is the Yamaha Phazer, followed closely by the Polaris Indy 500 and the original IFS Indy, the 1981 TXL.

The voting mapped the current sled market pretty close, with Polaris sleds in the lead overall with 32% of the vote, followed by Arctic Cat with 26% and Ski Doo and Yamaha with 16% each.

A few vintage sleds recieved votes, but for the most part, newer models garnered the highest percentages. Some sledders cast their vote for a generic model and a few just voted for a particular brand, making reporting on the vote somewhat difficult, which is why we are reporting the results in percentages and breaking it up into brand and individual models.
