Known for its responsiveness, the Blaster's quick-revving 195cc air-cooled two-stroke engine, with a close ratio six-speed transmission and manual clutch, offers recreational riders a great value in off-road riding.

Yamaha's double wishbone front suspension and single shock/swingarm rear suspension offer more than seven inches of travel. Both the front and rear suspensions also benefit from preload-adjustable shocks for fine tuning to different riding conditions.

Effective braking is obtained by dual front drum brakes and a self adjusting disc in the rear. For convenient maintenance, the Blaster features Yamaha's reliable Autolube Oil Injection system, which eliminates premixing of oil and gas.
